Who We Are
Who We Are
Seoul Coslab is a cosmetic development and manufacturing partner based in Seoul. We help international beauty businesses bring products through Korea’s ODM and OEM ecosystem — the part of the process that is hardest to run from another country and another time zone.
We have worked in Korean cosmetics manufacturing since 2016 — a decade, and the same decade in which Korean production earned the standing it now has abroad. We were part of that period rather than a reason for it, and we note the year here as a fact rather than a credential.
Korean manufacturing is specialised, and no single plant is the right one for every product. We work through standing contracted relationships with manufacturers across that ecosystem rather than owning a plant of our own — which is what lets us put a project on the line that suits it instead of the line we happen to have. Everything we take on is developed and produced here and carries Korean origin: Made in Korea on the pack and on the documents that travel with it.
What We Do
What We Do
A project usually arrives as a category, a market and a rough volume. From there the work is deciding the route — ODM, OEM or private label — then formulation, packaging, testing, production and export, in the order that keeps later decisions open.
Sequencing matters more than most buyers expect. Committing packaging tooling before a formula is stable is a common and expensive way to lose a month, and it is avoidable.
How We Work
How We Work
We write briefs as specifications rather than adjectives. A texture described as “light but rich” produces samples indefinitely; a target viscosity range with a named benchmark produces one. The time we save on a project comes almost entirely from being specific early.
We tell you what will not work. If a formula cannot be produced as written, if a volume cannot reach a packaging minimum, or if a claim is not permitted in your market, you hear it during feasibility rather than after tooling.
Manufacturing Network
Manufacturing Network
No single factory excels at everything. A facility that makes an exceptional sunscreen is rarely the one you want filling sheet masks — different equipment, different specialisation, different batch economics.
We work across Korea’s manufacturing ecosystem and select against formula, category, volume, certification scope and destination market. Certifications depend on the selected manufacturing partner and project requirements, and we confirm current scope for the specific line your product will run on rather than repeating a claim.
Quality Approach
Quality Approach
Quality problems are usually scheduling problems in disguise. Stability and compatibility testing take weeks of real elapsed time, and projects that compress them to hit a launch date tend to learn why they exist once the product is in the market.
We plan testing into the timeline at the start and set acceptance criteria before production rather than negotiating them afterwards.
Global Focus
Global Focus
Every market has its own registration path, labelling rules and claim limits, and shipments are held far more often for a document than for anything about the product. We prepare what your destination actually requires and tell you what has to be filed by an entity established there.
Where we cannot act — an EU or UK responsible person must be established locally, for instance — we say so rather than implying otherwise.

We publish company details once they are confirmed rather than filling the space. The same applies to certifications, capacity and client names — none of which appear anywhere on this site because none of them are ours to claim.
