Privacy Notice

The details you enter in the form: company or brand name, your name, email, country, and optionally WhatsApp number and website. Alongside those, the project details you select and the message you write.

Any files you attach.

Technical context about how you arrived: the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on, the referring site, and any campaign parameters in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term). This is stored with your inquiry so we understand which pages bring real projects. It is not shown to you in the form because it would only clutter it.

Whatever language you write in, your message and any attachments are stored exactly as you sent them. Korean and English inquiries are read directly by our team.

For other languages, a member of our team may use a translation tool to produce a working translation of your message when needed to understand and reply. This is done case by case by a person, not automatically, and the original is always kept as the authoritative record.

Inquiries are stored in a PostgreSQL database. Attachments are stored in a private object storage bucket that is not publicly readable — files can only be retrieved through short-lived links generated for signed-in administrators.

Access is limited to Seoul Coslab staff with an administrator account.

If analytics is enabled, this site uses Umami to count page views. Umami is privacy-focused: it does not set advertising cookies and does not build cross-site profiles.

We never send names, email addresses, phone numbers or inquiry message content to analytics. Only anonymous page-level events.

The public site does not set tracking or advertising cookies.

Your browser stores the page you first landed on for the duration of your visit, so that attribution is accurate if you submit an inquiry later. This is held in session storage and cleared when you close the tab.

The administrator area sets one session cookie for signed-in staff. It is not used on the public site.

We do not sell or rent your details.

We do not add you to a marketing list because you submitted an inquiry. If we ever run a mailing list it will be opt-in and separate.

We do not use your inquiry content for any purpose other than responding to it and understanding what kind of projects reach us.

You give us these details by submitting the form, and we use them for one thing: answering you. We do not process them for any other purpose, so there is nothing else here for you to opt out of.

Whatever jurisdiction you are in, we honour the same set of requests. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Deletion is covered below and is not conditional on giving a reason.

Seoul Coslab operates from the Republic of Korea and the inquiry data is held there.

Korean data protection law governs how we handle them. Where the law of your own country gives you a stronger right than that law does, tell us and we will meet the stronger one — we would rather answer the request than argue about which law reaches us.

We keep an inquiry for five years from the day it reaches us, then delete it. Attachments go with it — the files do not outlive the inquiry they arrived with. A manufacturing-partner application follows the same five years unless the manufacturer becomes a production partner, in which case we keep the record for as long as that working relationship lasts.

Five years is longer than a single conversation needs. It is set that way because projects go quiet and come back, and picking up from what you already told us is better for you than writing the brief again.

You can have yours deleted sooner. Write to [email protected] and we act on the request when it reaches us rather than at the next scheduled purge. Deletion removes the inquiry and its attachments; we do not keep a copy elsewhere.

Tell us the email address you used on the form so we can find the record. We do not ask you for identity documents to act on a request about your own inquiry.
