Privacy Notice

This notice describes what this website collects, where it goes and who can reach it. It covers the inquiry form and site analytics. It is written to describe what the site actually does rather than to cover every eventuality.

Incomplete

3 of the 9 sections below are marked as awaiting legal review. They describe what is still to be decided rather than stating something we have not confirmed — we would rather this page look unfinished than look finished and be wrong.

What we collect when you submit an inquiry

The details you enter in the form: company or brand name, your name, email, country, and optionally WhatsApp number and website. Alongside those, the project details you select and the message you write.

    Any files you attach.

Technical context about how you arrived: the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on, the referring site, and any campaign parameters in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term). This is stored with your inquiry so we understand which pages bring real projects. It is not shown to you in the form because it would only clutter it.

  2. 02

    Your message is not translated

Whatever language you write in, your message is stored exactly as you typed it and read in the original. Nothing is passed through machine translation before a person sees it.

If our team needs a translation to reply, that happens separately and the original is kept.

  3. 03

    Where it is stored

Inquiries are stored in a PostgreSQL database. Attachments are stored in a private object storage bucket that is not publicly readable — files can only be retrieved through short-lived links generated for signed-in administrators.

Access is limited to Seoul Coslab staff with an administrator account.

  4. 04

    Analytics

If analytics is enabled, this site uses Umami to count page views. Umami is privacy-focused: it does not set advertising cookies and does not build cross-site profiles.

We never send names, email addresses, phone numbers or inquiry message content to analytics. Only anonymous page-level events.

  5. 05

    Cookies

The public site does not set tracking or advertising cookies.

Your browser stores the page you first landed on for the duration of your visit, so that attribution is accurate if you submit an inquiry later. This is held in session storage and cleared when you close the tab.

The administrator area sets one session cookie for signed-in staff. It is not used on the public site.

  6. 06

    What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your details.

We do not add you to a marketing list because you submitted an inquiry. If we ever run a mailing list it will be opt-in and separate.

We do not use your inquiry content for any purpose other than responding to it and understanding what kind of projects reach us.

  7. 07

    Legal basis and your rights

    Awaiting legal review

The legal basis for processing, the rights available to you, and how to exercise them depend on where you are located and on Seoul Coslab’s registered legal entity.

This section will be completed with the specific bases, retention periods and contact route once the legal entity details are confirmed and reviewed by qualified counsel.

  8. 08

    How long we keep inquiries

    Awaiting legal review

A retention period has not yet been set. Once confirmed it will be stated here explicitly, together with what happens to attachments at the end of that period.

  9. 09

    Contacting us about your data

    Awaiting legal review

The data controller identity and the contact route for privacy requests will be published here once the legal entity is registered.
