Custom Cosmetic Product Development in Korea
Some projects do not fit a single service. A full development engagement means one partner is accountable from the first brief to stock arriving in your market, and the handoffs between formulation, packaging and production stop being yours to manage.

What it means
Full-service development covers concept definition, benchmark analysis, manufacturer matching, formulation, sampling, packaging development, testing, documentation, production and export as one managed sequence.
The value is not any single step. It is that the steps are sequenced by someone who knows which decisions constrain later ones — packaging chosen before the formula is stable, for instance, is a common and expensive way to lose a month.
Who it is for
- 01Brands launching their first product with no manufacturing experience in Korea
- 02Companies without an internal product development function
- 03Businesses that have tried coordinating suppliers directly and want that off their desk
- 04Multi-SKU launches where sequencing across products matters
What we handle
Concept and brief
Category, positioning, target market, price frame and volume expectations written down clearly enough to make decisions against.
Benchmark analysis
A reference product broken down into texture, finish, packaging and experience targets. Usually faster and more precise than a written brief.
Manufacturer matching
Partner selected against formula, category, volume, certification needs and destination market.
Formulation and sampling
Development against the brief, with iterations until the sample matches what you described.
Packaging development
Container, closure, decoration and compatibility, sequenced so tooling is committed only once the formula is settled.
Testing and documentation
Stability, challenge and market-specific documentation prepared for where the product will be sold.
Production and export
Manufacture, inspection, shipping documents and delivery.
Manufacturing through contracted Korean partners, matched to your product — every order made in Korea. Certifications depend on the selected manufacturing partner and project requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you develop multiple products at once?
Yes, and it is often more efficient — shared bases, shared packaging components and a single production window reduce both cost and elapsed time. Sequencing matters, so we plan the set together rather than each product separately.
What do you need from me to start?
The category, the market you are selling into, roughly what volume you can commit to, and either a benchmark product or a clear description of the experience you want. Everything else can be resolved as we go.
Can you work with startups?
Yes. The constraint is rarely company size — it is whether the volume and packaging route are compatible with each other. We will tell you early if they are not.
Do you help with brand and packaging design?
We coordinate packaging development and artwork production to manufacturing specification. Brand identity design itself is normally handled by your own designer or agency, and we work to their files.
