Korean Sheet Mask ODM, OEM and Private Label Manufacturing

A sheet mask is three decisions: the substrate, the essence, and how much essence the sheet carries. Buyers judge the first and the third, and describe them as if they were the second.

What we can develop

6 directions
  • 01Hydrating and moisture-barrier essence systems
  • 02Soothing systems for sensitive skin
  • 03Brightening direction within permitted claim limits
  • 04Firming and peptide systems
  • 05Fermented and botanical extract systems
  • 06Reduced-fragrance and fragrance-free variants

Texture and format

6 options
  • Cellulose sheet — economical, widely familiar
  • Tencel sheet — thinner drape, better adhesion
  • Microfibre — higher essence capacity
  • Bio-cellulose — closest adhesion, premium positioning
  • Hydrogel — two-piece, cooling
  • Embossed cotton — thicker, spa positioning
Development considerations4 decisions

The decisions that constrain everything after them.

01

Essence loading

How much essence the sheet carries changes the perceived value directly. It also changes cost per unit and the sachet size, so it belongs in the brief early.

02

Substrate against essence viscosity

A thick essence on a thin sheet will not distribute evenly. The pairing matters more than either choice on its own.

03

Sachet printing

Print runs have their own minimum, separate from the essence batch. Fewer colours and a single finish reduce both cost and lead time.

04

Preservation

A wet substrate sealed for months is a demanding preservation problem. Challenge testing is not optional in this category.

Typical MOQ

Quoted per project

What binds the number for this format.

Masks usually have the lowest floor of any category we work in, because the essence batch is small and the sachet replaces moulded packaging. The print run is often the binding constraint rather than the formula.

MOQ depends on the formula, packaging format and component minimums. We quote per project.

The six factors
FAQ4 questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much essence should a sheet mask carry?

Enough that the sheet is saturated without the sachet leaking when opened. Beyond that point additional essence adds cost and weight without adding perceived value. The right amount depends on the substrate.

Can I use my own sheet supplier?

Usually yes, provided the substrate is compatible with the filling and sealing line. Send specifications and samples early — substrate thickness affects the sealing parameters.

How long do sheet masks take to produce?

Shorter than bottled skincare in most cases, because there is no container tooling. The sachet print run and any required testing usually set the timeline rather than the filling itself.

What is the minimum order for a sheet mask?

MOQ depends on the formula, packaging format and component minimums. We quote per project. In most categories the packaging decision — stock components against custom tooling — moves the number further than the formula does. Small-batch production is possible: in some product categories a first run from around 3,000 units is workable. It differs product by product, so ask us about yours.
